Time Slots

A one-time occasion with one of the people shaping how cacao is understood in Mexico today. On Thursday October 1st, Fausto Reyes, artisan at Chocolatería Diaspora and leader of the Slow Food Cacao Coalition, takes us back to cacao’s origins and the Mexican traditions that shaped how it’s prepared. He shares recipes passed down through generations, most of which never leave Mexico, and guides a tasting of traditional cacao drinks you’re unlikely to find anywhere in Europe.

One evening, 20 places.
17:30-18:30. Cacao Museum Amsterdam.
